Vehicle wrap & AI vectorization FAQ

Straight answers about pricing, vinyl, AI conversion, shipping, and installation. Every question on this page is also marked up with FAQPage schema so it can surface in Google AI Overviews and answer engines.

AI vector conversion

What does WrapWorks.AI actually do?

WrapWorks.AI converts AI-generated vehicle wrap renders into print-ready SVG vector files and offers full-service printing, shipping, and installation across the United States.

Can I print an AI image directly onto a vehicle?

No. AI renders are raster images warped around 3D vehicle geometry. They have to be flattened, vectorized, and aligned to the vehicle's actual panel cuts before they can be printed on cast vinyl.

How long does the AI to vector conversion take?

Most conversions complete in a few minutes, depending on render complexity and the number of FX layers. The output is a downloadable SVG plus a written production feasibility report.

What file formats are supported for upload?

JPG, PNG, and WEBP up to 12MB. The output is SVG (vector), with isolated PNG previews per side panel.

Does WrapWorks.AI support gradients?

Yes. Gradient mode preserves true SVG gradients for soft artwork like flames, sunsets, and floral designs. Solid mode produces hard-edged flat colors for crisp logos and typography.

Pricing

How much does it cost to reconstruct one wrap file?

$75 per Full Reconstruction with no subscription. That covers artwork isolation, missing-art reconstruction, typography recovery where possible, gradient reconstruction, vectorization, layer separation, the production-ready files and the feasibility report. Volume plans discount that list price: $67 each (Starter, $335/mo for 5 — 11% off), $60 each (Pro, $600/mo for 10 — 20% off), $52.50 each (Studio, $1,050/mo for 20 — 30% off) and $45 each (Agency, $2,250/mo for 50 — 40% off), or $3,500/mo for unlimited.

Is there an unlimited plan?

Volume plans include a defined number of Full Reconstructions per month — 5 on Starter, 10 on Pro, 20 on Studio and 50 on Agency — and the $3,500/mo Unlimited plan runs on a fair-use production queue. A Full Reconstruction is one complete rebuild of one piece of artwork, not a single AI image generation, so pricing stays tied to real production work instead of a vague render count.

What is included in a monthly plan?

Your included Full Reconstructions plus unlimited re-runs, edits and downloads of the files you already reconstructed. Re-running dewarp, vectorization, gradient or typography steps on an existing project does not consume another reconstruction — only starting a new piece of artwork does. Included reconstructions reset each billing month and do not roll over.

What happens if I use more than my included reconstructions?

Extra Full Reconstructions are billed per file at your plan rate: $70 on Starter, $65 on Pro, $57 on Studio and $50 on Agency. Unlimited has no overage.

How do single downloads work?

Pay $75 once for a single Full Reconstruction — no subscription, no commitment. You get the production-ready SVG, separated layers, isolated PNG previews and the feasibility report as a downloadable bundle. Re-downloading that same completed project later is free and stays in your project history; a new piece of artwork is a new $75 reconstruction.

How are print and ship billed?

Separately from reconstruction, and per job. Reconstruction pricing only covers producing and downloading files. Physical production is quoted on its own: Print only $1,800, Print + Ship $2,400, and Print + Ship + Install $4,200 flat, based on vehicle, material and panel count. You approve a proof before anything is printed, and shipping is included in the Print + Ship tiers with tracked nationwide US delivery.

How much does a full vehicle wrap cost?

Print only is $1,800. Print + Ship is $2,400. Print + Ship + Install is $4,200 flat. All tiers use 3M or Avery premium cast vinyl.

Are there hidden fees?

No. The service tier prices are flat. The only separate charge is the $75 Full Reconstruction fee if you also want WrapWorks.AI to rebuild your artwork.

Do you offer refunds?

No. WrapWorks.AI is an AI-powered service and all sales — credits, vectorizations, subscriptions, and service tiers — are final and non-refundable. AI output is best-effort. You are responsible for reviewing output before it goes to print.

Production

What vinyl do you print on?

Only premium 3M and Avery cast vinyl. Cast vinyl conforms to compound curves, resists shrinkage, and lasts 5–7+ years outdoors. We never use calendared or off-brand films.

Do you ship vehicle wrap panels nationwide?

Yes. Panels are rolled, labeled by body location, and shipped tracked anywhere in the United States.

Do you install vehicle wraps?

Yes. The Print + Ship + Install tier ($4,200 flat) is handled by WrapWorks-certified install crews and includes post-heat, edge-seal, and a full QC pass.

What vehicles can be wrapped?

Cars, pickup trucks, vans, sprinter vans, box trucks, and fleet vehicles. The pipeline is tuned for the most-wrapped commercial vehicle geometries in the US market.

How long does a wrap last?

Properly installed cast vinyl wraps from 3M or Avery typically last 5–7 years outdoors. Indoor or covered storage extends that further.

Workflow

Can I bring my own AI render?

Yes — that's the entire workflow. Generate the render in any AI image tool you like, then upload it to WrapWorks.AI for vectorization and (optionally) production.

Can I download the SVG and use my own printer?

Yes. The Print only tier is optional. You can pay $75 for a Full Reconstruction, download the files and feasibility report, and run production through your own shop.

What's a production feasibility report?

A written analysis covering printability, color risk, contrast, bleed, and seam alignment for your specific design. It flags choices that could break the wrap on metal so you can fix them before the file hits the press.

Can the AI re-run a step if it doesn't look right?

Yes. Dewarping, layer extraction, and vectorization are each independently re-runnable. You can also marquee-extract a specific region of the flat sheet to isolate as a transparent PNG layer.
